I could reach back to the prefix 'mis-' when we say the words 'misuse, misplace, misconduct, misbehave, mislead, mislay,—–' . It means 'bad, wrong, not-advantageous',and faulty'.

I find BBC learning E is very insteresting

  29. If Google and Facebook et al are claiming to be international companies, doesn't this make them essentially foreign actors? There are far more foreign countries than the single US. Why are they censoring the internet, and what are they censoring for. Who are they censoring for? It seems to me that it would be far better to let people censor for themselves and the content we see, than letting some international actor dictate what I see. It has gotten obviously political, so why have these corporations also mandated political guidelines? I far and away prefer an open internet than someone else's opinion of what I should see. They may be good at directing advertisements, but they seem completely incompetent at directing traffic.

  30. Thank you bbc and their fabulous team 🙏🏼🇲🇽

  31. Also Catherine says sth connected to "mood" could it be? i dont get it, can you help me?
    thanks beforehand.

  32. Then, when Dan talks about the cookies he bet, He says Catherine sth connected to "Sharing" what is it?

  33. love the video! it helps with my pronunciation! but i would like to know what they say in certain sections of the video. For instance, when talking about a Bet to Rod, Dan says "i felt come over".

  34. Thanks for always offering this very very useful program.

I love News Review much the same as 6 minutes english among all the BBC leaning
english programs and this video, unlike 6 minutes eng, enables me to watching them talking, which I think is so great and really ideal for most of the englsh learners that they can observe their facial expressions or mouth movements.

but I’m perplexed by one thing.

I can't make sure whether or not I'm right, that they omit something or use any contractions or whatever after watching this !

I wish they had transcripts of this program on their website as in 6 minutes eng or simply had subtitles on here at youtube. that'll do.

maybe they think it's better not to do so for advanced learners or some sort of copyright matter with materials from others(it can't be helped, though), I know, but I feel the above-mentioned will make this excellent program perfect.

Would you please do that, BBC!!

  35. My parents shot me down when I was about to enter vocational high school 😐

  36. Love it when the presenters drop hints about each others on the programs. It feels like being invited into your inner circle 😜😋. Anyway, this episode is another great episode to understand current happenings. Thanks team BBC..
