My first drink . 1.20 a pint was able to drink shead loads and not get drunk.
Not in Scotland, never heard of it
One of my faves!!!
Doombar over rated pish.. worthies also shite and smiths barely there rain water pish.. fullers ESB is better. Still rather drink the Grainstore ales in Rutland.
I still have it on tap in my pub in Pembroke
The big boy breweries are going the way of Greene King went in the '80's (Piss water) although Greene King have upped their game recently and serve a decent pint………….. IF looked after properly !!
🤣🤣 brilliant review.i drunk this stuff till it came out of my ears
I like the cream flow sometimes. Would kinda like a young craft brewery to add it to an IPA. Would it work? Probably not. But I’d give it a go…. Unless there’s already one available. Let me know if so.
Looks like a lovely beer
The Worthington's cup. It was everywhere
Actually seen that recently in a wee supermarket in Tenerife!
With you on that Martin, I'm 36 and I loved a few pints of creamflow every now and again. Don't ever see it anymore though, not in my neck of the woods anyway
Which one of Worthington’s boddington’s or John smith’s extra smooth was bigger 🤔
Doom Bar is pants now, if I have to I choose Atlantic over Doom Bar and that's literally if I have no other choice
Doombar is Doombar in name only, its not even made in Cornwall anymore. It bombed when they moved it to the midlands.
Cheers, love the beer history lesson 🍺👍
It is weird that Doombar is the most well known Sharp's beer although it is there worst one. I adore Sharp's Atlantic, Wolf Rock and Sea Fury but can't drink Doombar. 👍
Worthys Creamflow is nice! It was the first non lager thst I liked.
Haven't seen this in shops up here for about a year now in cans, it's still pretty popular in clubs though I think.
Had a pint of the Worthingtons the other week in Wetherspoons
Vile tasteless as bad as John Smiths.
Prefer Doombar any day..
Still readily available I had it in Wetherspoons, now owned by Molson Coors! Very similar creamy nitro beer to the Carling Premier also still readily available
Looks great, tastes…. Well, of not a lot at all really.
Absolutely
Nitrogen
Absolutely right
Do you remember the Guinness bitter in a green can in the 90's, it didn't last long but I quite liked it.
Worthington is sold in Wetherspoon's at £1.79 at some pubs, it's ok but John Smith's was better, doom bar is ok.
I used to drink this at my local social club in the 90's, a smooth easy going beer with a sessionable abv as was Smiths, Cafferys and Boddingtons, then of course the giants swallowed them up and pissed all over them, a great shame.
Anyone remember Tenants Velvet ? Similar thing , use to drink it in Glasgow in the late 90s
they do this and cafferys in my working mens club. they also do doombar on ale pump. all good beers.
get your hands on boddingtons!! 4 cans in tesco for about £3.50!
also that is the correct glass for this mate! the worthingtons ones in the club are the nonic shape
My local WMC had this when I turned 18 i used to drink this because they didn't sell Tetleys and I didn't like John Smiths and it was only £1.90 a pint and that was only 2013 and its still only £2.60 now but moved onto much better things haha 😄
I rate this along with John Smiths, Tetley and the cheek to call it Boddigtons, It's called sink beer as that's the only place for for this dishwater.
A couple of the local boozers have this on, see a lot of Theakstons mild on too, I can sip either.
These big conglomerate breweries seem to buy out smaller prestige beers with the sole intention of ruining its reputation
