I’ve had Outer Rim sitting on my shelf for a year. Ever since I heard about the expansion Unfinished Business, I decided to wait for its release before I played it. Now, I’ve had plenty of time with it and here are my thoughts review of Star Wars Outer Rim with the Unfinished Business expansion. I hope you enjoy!

Hey there, great review. It’s inspired me to pick it up myself, quick question though what do you recommend sleeve wise to protect the cards?
I refuse to buy this game because of the arc setup. I don't have big table like that
Thanks for such a great review.😀
I always play these types of games solo for the reason you pointed, a willingness to 'role play' and take in the lore and story you create and not just playing the mechanics. I already own the FFG Fallout board game, want Arkham Horror 3rd edition and have been on the hunt for a decently priced copy of Runebound. As much as I prefer the Star Wars IP over most of the others, I don't see a real reason to add this one to my collection although I think this one might take up the least amount of space which is a major plus for me.
Loved the review! Really good to know how essential the expansion is. Maybe you should do a video on your favourite/most essential board game expansions when you feel you have enough to merit making a video on it.
Speaking of Outer Rim though, do you feel that your group playthrough would have been enjoyable if you had played it with a group of people who focused more on the story aspect rather than just trying to win?
I love solo gaming and I know that’s what your channel is all about but unless it’s purely a solo game, I like to know that the group experience would be worth it before letting a game take my money 😅
As always, really appreciate the review, look forward to the next one!
Great review! This is one of my favorite board games (solo and multiplayer) of all time. The expansion definitely makes this feel like a complete adventure!
Great vid! Love the enthusiasm!!
Thanks for the shout out. I am glad I picked this up with the expansion. I agree the expansion add more content that keeps me engage. I thin the length is problematic but having a dedicated room for play I can leave it set up and continue later. The art is superb and the board I love it. Is so unique. Thanks man. Awesome review. I agree with you this game gets really good with the expansion.
As a huge Star Wars fan who has dressed as a Jedi to Star Wars movies, I've really wanted to play this, but heard replayability was only so so, and I'm on a budget. With an expansion, I'll have to reconsider. Great review!🙂
