The GUI still looks slow, I assumed the new chipset would make it browse and load faster..

Great information. Thanks. I discovered Zappiti a few months ago and bought the Zappiti 4K Mini and a 16 Terabyte Seagate EXOS hard disk (a bit noisy but if you put the disk on the sponge, it really reduces the noise). I really like the Mini and the price was quite affordable. Previously I had tested many other Media managers and found Zappiti Video a lot better. The 4K Mini unit only decode HDR (not HDR10+ or Dolby Vision) but it is OK for now. I was planning to eventually buy the new NEO unit, but the price is way too much. I wish Zappiti had developed a new version of the Mini 4K with chipset supporting HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

@Kael Media, I had considered putting together a NAS or buying the Zappiti NAS for a storage/ripping solution. Let’s say I either of the two, which player from Zappiti’s lineup makes the most sense?

If you aren't going to use the analog outputs, you may as well saved several hundred dollars and just bought the Neo. The output via HDMI is idnetical.

Great video man! I really enjoyed it. I have had my Zappiti Reference for 2 months now. My two main takeaways are performance and convenience. I subbed to your channel. I look forward to more videos. Keep up the excellent work Man!
