We Gave Away Our Computers to Tech Education reviews
If you’ve wondered what we do with all our extra hardware, this is it! We bring it to be refurbished into new computers, classrooms, and more. Special CHARITY AUCTION link below.
Sponsor: ASUS X570 Dark Hero on Amazon https://geni.us/01jz
SPECIAL CHARITY AUCTION: 100% of the sale funds Kramden Institute’s technology education programs, distribution of computers for those who cannot afford them, e-waste recycling, and refurbishing. You can own an important piece of GN’s history from one of our most popular videos of 2021, where a Gigabyte PSU exploded during our speedrun trials of the power supplies. The PSU is NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL and is inactive, but has since been signed by both Steve & Stone to commemorate the occasion. Grab this unique flare and support Kramden here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324958862408 (NOTE: Due to eBay non-profit/charity auction limitations, the auction is limited to the US. This is not up to us nor is it up to Kramden. Sorry for the inconvenience.).

Man I hate schleping around PC cases….I've done it waaaaaaaaaaaay to many times
Adam Fanning –
They admit 2nd gen i5 is too slow to be used. But userbenchmark says a ryzen 5 3600 is only 10% faster and a 3100 is 1% faster. Shows how much of a joke userbenchmark is

When your current gaming rig is "too old to be reused"

this is an awesome place, giving new life to all those PCs. awesome. nowdays everything is mobile, but so many everyday people used to think their PC was outdated and "just needed a new one" every few years, which is total bullshit. It all depends on your use. Right now Im still using my Phenom II from 2009. Great video
DiscoBallGaming –
I always wondered what you do with all this, Now I know. I always wondered what cases you keep and let go, and you also answered that. I'm glad you believe in Reuse and not just throwing it away, how wonderful.
Maximilian M –
ngl i've seen a giant amount of i3 2nd gen and up move online
Mike –
This is super cool. I went to a tech school as a kid where we would get donated PCs and we'd troubleshoot, test, load win98 on them and send them out the door. That linux distro sounds like a much much better solution. And this operation is certainly in another league than just a bunch of geeks dicking around for half the day for a few college credits and an A+ cert.
Pidde Bas –
Tip for Kramden institute; XP-era machines also hold a collectors value, try selling them instead of shredding them
Farts Migee –

Does anybody know a reliable way to find charities like this across the country, or specifically any in Denver? I would love to donate time, equipment, and money.
Jock McBile –
Even though a lot of it was old, sucky or blew up. I betcha it was STILL more than $10,000 worth of components. GREAT episode guys.
Jock McBile –
It's funny, I've always wondered about this. But I never asked, thinking I'd come across as a douche looking for free shit.
Mīkë Muzan –
