"I cost a lot of money and when things aren't going well, when we're conceding too many goals, I'm going to get criticised." United paid £80m for Maguire in 2019, making him the world's most expensive defender.

Leadership has to come from a few players, not just the captain and manager. Look Liverpool – Henderson, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner are the ones who lead by example and keep the rest in line. Man City have Dias, De Bruyne, Silva, Walker and Laporte to lead. Chelsea have Thiago, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Jorghinho.

Who do Utd have apart from Ronaldo? There's the problem.

Funny thing is everyone blamed Solskjaer. Once Rangnick came on a short-term contract, they had nowhere to hide after that. It was Them aal along.

I love how Keane says Maguire … There is so much tired frustration in it … How it should always be pronounced

There's no soul with this team!! Love Roy Keane!! He needs to be GM or manager. He's right…no character and the blue collar effort and pride has gone. Let's hope next year is better after a thorough cleaning.

Man Utd aren’t winning games because their players aren’t technically good enough. More fighting spirit, energy, soul, culture, passion etc helps but it’s not going to beat the likes of Liverpool or Man City. Maybe back when Roy was playing this would get results but the game has moved on massively since then.

I'm not a United fan. Never was. But when I see them like this I feel for Roy Keane ..because he just deserves to be watching a better utd.

"People want to leave, can't get out the door fast enough… they've really already left.. already on their holidays" That is the harsh reality. This is what happens when ownership has no workable strategy but just bandaids like Ronaldo. You have to bring a 37 yr old to have a scorer? That's the plan? What do you do for next year to get better?

MU looked a team not even the same league – more like a team on the edge of relegation. Lousy defense that was constantly lacking pressure, lacking awareness, followed by ridiculous unprofessional fouls that showed the frustration of players. I didn't even see one decent shot on goal by MU in the highlights. Teams that can't control the middle of the field will lose. Teams that can't see the flow of an attack by the adversary and disrupt it then capitalize in counter attack will lose I agree that there is a lack of talent, but also a lack of head in the game / decent team tactics. It seems like a team trapped with a few overpriced players past their prime, with a supporting cast of players who don't actually support, with the addition of a lack of good tactics/coaching. Not good for them.

Before Alex furguson what did man UTD acheive for a so called big club not that long ago they were in the old second division I think they won one fa cup in the whole of the eighties Liverpool are a far more bigger and successful club so Keane go and study United's history or recent history it might educate you on United's big club myth.

For years I have believed we have a major problem at the top….the players we have bought are just not Man United quality…..I have believed for years the Pogba, that idiot Rashford, Martial, Fred, Maguire, and several others should have gone years ago….just lazy with attitude you can see it in their body language…..hangers on at all levels…..Glaziers need to get a grip…a new manager is not the answer…..its much bigger than that….the culture. discpline, High level training…..and more…!!!

the two of them aren’t seeing anything that I/WE all aren’t,Man utd are a joke top to bottom 🤣,as a liverpool fan i still had jitters (slightly) going into this match! just as i was before the 0-5 at old trafford, but sitting here with hindsight i’m 🤔 WHY lol and it’s going to take more than Ten Hagg on a 3 year deal and ££££££s galore to sort them out SHOCKING EMBARRASSING to a man/woman the club is ROTTEN to its core

As an Arsenal fan, this is sad to watch and hear. Given what our rivalry was with Utd, its sad to see Keane who once bullied Viera in the tunnel, those efforts, those mano-e-mano moments come down to all of what we see today.

This is brilliant because Roy Keane and Graeme Souness don't soft soap anything, they tell it like it is and both of them are spot on. It's a tragedy to see Manchester United in their current state. I'm a Rangers fan but have feelings for Manchester United due to Alex Ferguson and my cousin Robert Fullerton who is a massive Manchester United supporter. As a kid I enjoyed watching Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town, Aston Villa and Liverpool in european competitions. Manchester United weren't that good then but Alex Ferguson turned them into a superpower after a difficult first few years. Old Trafford needs a total clear out and start again the way Fergie did it.

There’s no other reason why Maguire keeps playing despite displaying that type of performance other than white privilege. If he was a black player, he would’ve been sold ages ago.

The squad is a mish mash of players signed by Fergie, Moyes, LVG, Jose and Ole. The whole squad needs changing over the next 2/3 seasons for it to even stand a chance of reaching top 4 again
