I feel like you have to watch both movies, one for the story and the other for the character. Watch the jobs movie first, then watch Steve jobs. I did that and it made the second movie even better.
HisVirusness –
Steve Jobs was a garbage person who didn't actually do anything; I think this movie was good enough.
Remi Ellis –
Is it weird I preferred the 2013 version
Doug O –
As Steve says in the movie, "I don't know what that means!"
Adam Straub –
idk how christian bale would be but It'd still be interesting to see how how he would play as jobs….. maybe throw in a little bateman in there lol would prob be fitting tbh
Adam Straub –
Jeremy's a legend, hilarious how he mentioned Aaron Sorkin in the last jobs review and couple years later we get a Aaron Sorkin jobs movie. Guy knows his stuff.
GrubbyFinish –
This is literally the worse movie ever
Reece Jennings –
Have to say, this is still in my top 10 favourite movies of all time. The best way I can sum up what I love about this is "the screenplay single handedly makes this a more tense movie than any thriller, action movie or horror can ever be."

I loved this movie. I especially loved the scene between Jobs and Sculley backstage at the San Francisco Opera. The way it's portrayed, the way it's written, the way it's acted — the tension is so high that I almost wish for the relief of a boxing match in Rocky where Rocky gets the crap beaten out of him.

steve jobs is like an action movie, but instead of fight scenes there's arguments, it reminds me of whiplash in a way
Andy Rodriguez –
this is one of my favorite movies of all time
Jordan Garvin –
No props to Kate Winslet? You trash for that.
ILL XANE –
Ashton Kutcher version is amazing
D Cabral –
I loved a movie that shows elements of a character, that we haven't seen before.
Shivin Wason –
Idk about anyone else, but this 60 fps shit is messing with my brain
Antonio Palestini –
I didn’t have any type of faith in the movie, so I just watched and I was blown away, it’s fucking awesome
stanklepoot –
I'd recommend Pirates of Silicon Valley. You get the development of both Apple and Microsoft, the origin of the rivalry, and a pretty decent view into how both Jobs and Gates were and why.
Chris The Barber –
Before the movie very few ppl knew woz was the talent and steve was the idea/business man
Suns Geek –
Dear Jeremy Jahns, I love Jeremy Jahns
BlueFox94 –
Steve Jobs recently dethroned Sicario as my favorite film of 2015. ^_^
Randehmarsh Games –
I get Michael Fassbender was great, but what about Seth Rogen
Osman Safian Baharuddin –
It wasn't showing in the cinemas near me, watching it much later at home frustrates me, because of how good it is, and I didn't get to catch it on the big screen.
Nate Marks –
You didn't say shit about Rogen's performance.
Brian Lee –
Pirates of Silicon Valley, there, a good movie that shows the start of Apple.
BigCoop3 –
This movie blew me away!
Kamra Mann –
Great jobs
GoodBinary –
if you ask me it is trying to be a lot like Birdman, and Fassbender is not realistically like Steve Jobs
R Garcia –
I loved this so much – I fap to winslet.
Brian Lee –
I don't know, I think Pirates of Silicon Valley did a good job at showing how Apple was founded, hell, they even followed Bill Gates and Microsoft as well.
Kyle Campbell –
1:42 Michael Fassbender looks like Ed Harris in "The Truman's show"
Dylan L –
OMG i just caught the movie on HBO, that movie is so good portrait of Steve Jobs
Nick Margeas –
I personally think the first Steve Jobs movie with Ashton Kutcher was better
Robert Sneed –
Steve Jobs is exactly what EVERY CREATIVE DIRECTOR wants to be.
Leo Edekere –
They should've covered the first iPhone
Arya Vart –
they should have shown the launch of ipod and iphone . The movie would have been way better and a box office success
carver Augustus –
Holy shit Jeremy. someone needs to pick up the phone cuz he fuckin called
Atlas –
I 100% agree with this review. I wanted to see more as well. There were elements in the other movie that I wanted to see in this. Like you said, see how he founded apple and all that that we saw in the other movie except with a better creative team. The Aron Sorkin Movie could have been so much more.
svnhddbst –
thing is, everything i've read on steve jobs was that he couldn't innovate for shit, so he just copied everyone else's great ideas and stuck them together and charged a premium.
he was a spectacular businessman and a generally shit person and creator/inventor. but then i can also be completely wrong.
Words of Stupid –
I felt like nothing happened. Exactly what you said. But I also thought the arguments were random at point. They would argue and then be like " Remember that one thing that happened years ago that has nothing to do with this topic."
Rohit Mitra –
I think you should try doing a review of Pirates of Silicon Valley. That is a way better take on how Apple and Microsoft started than what Steve Jobs tried to achieve.
Jaime Lannister –
The biggest question I have is, 'why is iTunes so shit?'.
Séamus Flynn –
Kate Winslet was incredible in this movie.
Jordan Green –
I can't wait for next years Steve jobs movie.
Michael Wilkinson –
Having read the Steve Jobs biography, I can say honestly I was blown away by this script. As you say, Jeremy, what an amazingly creative way to explore the intricate character of Steve Jobs by telling the story through the moments before three critical presentations. Yes, you don't get the play-by-play story of his life…but you get a version of Steve Jobs that is in your face, real, and compelling. This could be one of the few cases in movie history where if you've read the book, you will be amazed by the movie…and if you haven't…oh well. This was a masterpiece of screen writing and delivery.

Who else can't wait for Abraham Lincoln?
Rohith Kumar –
did he address Apple 2 team at iMac event ? damn this movie was amazing
Groundhog Day 1993 is AWESOME! –
Michael Fassbender was HORRIBLY miscast…
.'Spiritual Mafia –
I think it was too much overacting by every character. no one talks to boss about their personal life specially talking to boss like he should do this and that relationship advises and how he should talk to his daughter if she is his daughter. specially to that guy. because he was famous for being a no nonsense boss.
