If you’re shopping for the best surround sound setup, ELAC speakers are great when looking for affordable home theater speakers. If a smart home audio system is more your style, Sonos speakers might be the system for you. Sonos wireless speakers with Alexa make watching movies and streaming music easy. For a more traditional setup, the Klipsch 600M speakers do more with less power, for the best surround sound setup.

I would guess if you want the most out of your system you should spend 100%+ allow for speaker upgrading in the future. You have $2,000 speakers you should have $2,000 integrated amp or Amp/Preamp. What do you recommend?

I purchased a KEF 5.1.1 Q Series speaker system back in 2000. The fronts were a Q55.2 and got the matching sub and center. Honestly these speaker never got me excited and just seem to be bland. Feel like a quality soundbar would be just as good. So awhile back I went from a Yamaha receiver to a Denon and then went to even a better 4300X and still nothing. I get more out of my Sonos speakers. So here I am looking at upgrading to the latest Denon/Onkyo high end receiver. But I started to wonder if I should just replace all my speakers? But I am wondering if I try the ELAC Reviewed am I really just going to get the same results? Or have things really improved over the years even though Andrew Jones came from KEF and they seem to both use a uni-driver. Thinking I wouldn’t see a difference since the technology is pretty much the same, but would appreciate others thoughts.

ELAC Debut Reference – DBR62 vs Dynaudio Emit 20. What's the best speaker? I enjoy a warm, soft and open sound stage.

Have you done a review on the b52-2. 0 book shelf, unified model, if you have, I haven't seen it. Please let me know. It's a very respected bookshelf, from Elac , think it's a 2020 model, came out in September, I believe. It's very highly recommended. If you haven't done that review, please update your menu. It's surf and turf. With a side of incredible sound stage, imaging, neutral, clarity, bass etc. Thanks guys! 🙏❤️😁🤘

I’ve always felt these lack midrange and the treble is very rolled off at the top. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would think spending twice as much for the speakers as for the integrated amp or receiver should yield great results. This Elac seems to have it all wrong in that regard. Cheers

This video is a 'reference' for recording SQ. Not sure how you manage too sound WAY better than any show on TV but great job. Not sure if you have either great microphones or great post work, or both.

I just bought the DBR62 to pair with Rega Brio and the new Rega p3. Whole setup costed me around $1600 where i live. Can't be any happier with the sound. A bit on the warm side, very good clarity, a bit laid back but musical and dynamic. Bass with the Brio goes pretty deep for my taste and i don't need a sub. You can listen to it in a long session without any fatigure. The first time i listened to it i literally listened for three hours, one vinyl after another. Just didn't want to stop. It was that good for me.

Curious if you and Kristi have any experience with the Uni-Fi 2.0 ub52. Most reviewers seem to love them. They recently dropped in price and considering either picking them up or the Heco Aurora 300.

Reference speakers paired with the little but powerful Rockville Bluetube tube amp, is amazing. I compare to B&W CM5 speakers (they are 3X cost). No kidding.

These speakers are compelling what I need to know Andrew is do the Debut Reference Bookshelf Speakers compare well vs Carina Bookshelf Speakers BS243.4 which cost over 2 times as much.

I have to wonder if these (the Cariña) are that much better if they are are they giant killers ie could they compete with some think like the monitor audio gold 100 or other bookshelves twice as costly.

Elac is after all, all about value. Is can it do value at a higher price?
