2023 VinFast VF 8 – Redline: First Look – 2022 New York Auto Show reviews
To become a #VinFirst pioneer and take advantage of some special perks when you purchase this vehicle by the end of the year, be sure to visit: https://reserve.vinfastauto.us/ to reserve your own VF 8.
All-electric long range midsize SUV’s with a premium vibe is what American consumers demand and for 2023, there is a new option coming from Vietnam. This is the 2023 #VinFastVF8, the brand’s first model in America and roughly the same size as the Tesla Model Y. The upcoming #VinFast #VF8 will start at under $41,000, offer up to 292 miles of range, and pump out 402 HP from its twin electric motors. The AWD will allow this SUV to sprint to 60 in 5.5 seconds and with a design aided Italian design legend, #Pininfarina, it will certainly help it stand out when it arrives on American soil at the end of this year.

Hey everyone! VinFast did share some updated info on the pricing and range after we shot this video. Keep in mind, these prices do not include the cost to lease the battery pack:
Eco, 260-mile range: $40,700
Eco, 292-mile range: $41,000
Plus, 248-mile range: $47,700
Plus, 277-mile range: $48,000
You also might be wondering, why is it so cheap to go for the larger battery pack? Its because VinFast allows you to lease the battery, so in return, they don't tack on a much higher price tag for a larger battery. The lease rates vary depending on if you want a flexible or fixed mileage rate. We'll upload a separate video explaining that. This car will compete with vehicles like the Mach E, ID.4, Model Y, Solterra, bZ4X, etc. when it goes on sale at the end of this year.

I was so happy with so many features of this car, then noticed it doesn’t seem to have a rear wiper! This is a deal breaker for me. So disappointing!

Honestly looks great but battery 🔋 🔋 its not great because new generation no gas involved has to give you more mileage we expect to pay for fast movement and not spending the time on the car charging 😎😎😎😎

Come and test drive it, I'm sure it won't let you down !

MG marvel soldin Europe is better finish, lower price and longer mileage battery. Vinfast pays too much for promotion but has neither disrupting technology nor reputation.

It’s just an auto assembly line build in Vietnam..100% import parts from foreign countries…😂🤣

It’s too early to say if vinfast will fail or success here in the USA!
Ong mat may not know what he is talking about or heard too many rumors!😎

I applaud their audacity to take on the US market and I love the Pininfarina styling. But would I buy a $50K car from a Vietnamese real-estate development firm with virtually no history in the auto industry? Then you'd think, "neither did Tesla or Rivian". True, but they actually pioneered their product categories in the US. For me, the risk is too great. I wouldn't buy Chinese cars either, even though they have been building millions of e-cars for years.

It’s a fake EV from the communist Vietnamese. It will never sell in the US, if it does, you better get ready to go to jail, because if you complain too much, they will send their communist law enforcers to your house and put you in jail. This incident happened to a Vietnamese customer in Vietnam with their gas model.

My first impression with vinfast is . The exterior design is quite nice and unlike any other car on the market. Car manufacturers from China specialize in plagiarizing designs, but with vinfast, it is very special and not confused. love vinfast 🇻🇳🇻🇳

Not a fan of the gear selector buttons as they seem like a waste of space. Also would prefer a few physical buttons incorporated underneath the touchscreen. Otherwise, impressed!

Car parts are imported and placed in China, then transferred to the Vietnamese border, Vinfast assembles cars in Vietnam, the safety of the car cannot be guaranteed! Be careful when buying it!

Every electric car I've been in has a more premium interior than Tesla.

looks good!!
Emmanuel Gutierrez –
Decent looking, front needs finesse, similar to Cayenne. Interior looks good, I’d prefer some buttons for a/c.
Vietnamese startup beats Chrysler for EV.
Paul Adam –
Not a big fan of the front the side wheels and rear look good. The other VF suv next to this is very ugly.

Nice

STOP lying. Viet Nam can't even build a simple screws. How the hell they can build a car? You can say that, this car is assembly in Viet Nam but, you must not say this car made in Vietnam.
