  1. Thank you for sharing great video😊

  2. Performance reviews are pure bullshit , it’s all based on the organization’s or team performance !! These tips are for little headed people thinking world is good to them !!! It’s biased always , my advice is always have a plan B and start looking for another job , always believe that you are better than jack asses !!

  3. This is so straight forward &helpful!!! ✨✨

  4. my performance review is tomorrow! Watching you explain what to do is so helpful as this is actually my very first. Thank you very much and more views and subscribers!!!

  5. can we ask for promotions in mid year?

  6. Super Grateful for Youtubers, like you, who are really making a difference in people's lives by reducing anxiety and increasing confidence in an important area of their lives. Thank you so much!

  7. linda , you have made my life easy and ambitious !! much love to you 🤍🤍👍🏻

  8. Is this a fairway to ask for a raise? “ based on my skill sets and the value that I’ll bring to the team what do you consider to be fair market value for a person with my knowledge and experience(22 yrs) ?”

  9. Being told what I’m doing wrong and where I’m going wrong that is an opportunity for growth. I feel like if the boss didn’t see potential you never would’ve made it to the evaluation you would’ve been on the chopping block

  10. Good video

  11. I hate performance reviews. They are like going through job interview every couple of months.

  21. Hopefully I ain't the only one who gets physically upset of performance reviews. I always have to get it out of my system on the day. I always take on the feedback as well though afterwards. Just sometimes need to get it outta my system on the day.

I've been working from home for over a year, and don't know what I did above or beyond, seriously.

  24. I got "needs improvement" which is very much demotivating so I'm going to quit.

  25. I hate performance reviews. It's based solely on the managers perspective , your own perspective isn't taken into consideration mine is tomorrow morning, DREADFUL

  26. Excellent! About to try this today!

  27. This was great thank you, I'm super nervous for my first formal review tomorrow.

  28. This is awesome information and so clearly presented ☀️ thank you.

  29. These were some great tips, as I have a performance review tomorrow and now I feel like I can successfully articulate myself whilst getting my needs met too. Thank you for your work.

  30. You are not only professional…you are a beautiful human being.

  31. What are steps 4 & 5?

  33. Great one. How does Youtube algo get me here? Well, u earn a subs ma'am. Great content!!

  34. I do have a question? What if you have a job where you are expected to take on a very wide range of tasks and duties that make it difficult to do something outside of your job description? For example, I launched a new SharePoint communication program for my companies sales team. However, in my performance review, my boss stated that the platform project fell under "misc. projects" in my job description and thus it did not count as taking on something beyond my job?

  35. I just had mine… she just went over my goals I made last time… I'm pretty new to this and I feel it was just a pat on the back… I don't feel like I got anything solid…. but she is interested in seeing some of my new skills get used in some side projects which I'm starting… but after I finish those I feel I'll have more value to bring to the bargaining table

  36. really good advice thank you!

  37. my last boss would underrate me for everything. now i may have had room to improve but he kept me in the "just competant" category for 2 years. i was like that's harsh. but he was a brit expat working in canada. he came from working his underlings harder and put in dues. i would only work hard within office hours which is 40h per week. he made it difficult to grow. luckily i was able to get let go and got hired by their biggest competitor for more pay and senior role. my advice is to work for someone who is a level or 2 above you not upper management. my boss was a senior manager used to waving his hand and getting work done. i only did my work.

  38. Hi Linda, thanks for sharing. do you have Tips for a Supervisor / Manager to perform PA effectively?. Thanks.

  39. 01:07 – Before the meeting, prepare your value and accomplishment stories ahead of time.

02:17 – Before the meeting, make sure that you are clear on what you plan to request.

02:43 – Listen to what your boss or manager has to say.

03:00 – Assess whether it’s the right time to move forward with your request or stop to ask for constructive criticism.

04:49 – Articulate your value and accomplishments.

    05:29 – Make your request.

05:50 – Ask for the next steps and their expectations of you.

I know this is an old video but I cannot find anything to my question at all. I re-worded it so many times. All I get is what mistakes bosses do, what to do and so on.

My question is: Is it ok to be the only person in the company / department to get a Performance Review?

  41. Hi Linda, I’ve been waiting your video from Jan. 2020 till I got a new job. I love your channel and your tips. Do you have any mid year review tips for a “new employee” who’s been working at new company for only 2 months or less?

  42. Hey Linda very insightful I can implement some step mentioned by you while initiating mid year review in my organization. Thanks god bless you

  43. What about when we work with a micro Manager?

  44. Linda will you provide ur mail id please…….🖤

  45. I am here Just one day before the performance review..

  46. Thanks Linda! This will definitely help me in the appraisal discussion I'll be having soon!

  47. But that’s the thing – I am not wanting any of those extra things. I am complacent where I am. I am not asking for a raise . I am happy where I am. I already work 3 jobs because I like different fields/ variety. But to ask of me more when I don’t want to do more….. 😣😫

  48. Can u pls make the nxt video about how to be a good private company auditor. Pls pls pls thnx.☺️

  49. Thank you very much for your tips. Best channel on professional career development !
