  1. The approach into Sydney is always iconic. No place like home.

Really enjoyed watching your video after a long time! Glad to see you flying again. Thanks for the video 🙂 Happy Travels!

  4. I wouldn't waste one single cent on Qantas 🙅‍♀️. We fly buso domestic and international with every other airline. I won't even say why. Our company knows why.

  5. Excellent video Paul. You have an easy style while providing detailed information about all topics I'm interested in.
Qantas Business on a 14 hour flight certainly looks like it would be a great experience.

  6. Bundeena /Maianbar at 12.11

  7. Makes me want to fly down to Sydney someday.

  8. Another amazing video

  9. Social media effluencers. Very parched sence of humour Paul. Hehe.

  10. Not exactly sure where you went for coffee but for a country of 335,000,000 I’m sure you can get a good cup of coffee somewhere in the states

  11. “…if you’re a social media effluencer, trying to get a good shot…”
“…nor social media effluencers, who can’t survive the lack of validation for that long…”
    Legend!

  12. "Social Media Effluencer"…. 🤣🤣🤣👍 I've never heard that one before… and i'm stealing it 😁😉

  13. i flew this one's a month for 6 years.. amazing experience

  14. i like the idea that you had complete privacey. but i would have preferred that the windows were closer to look out of. the meals looked amazing

  15. Thanks, Paul another great video & good to see you back. I have still to see all your blogs from the US but I'll be savouring those over the next few days. Greetings from Coffs Harbour.

  16. I loathe people who open the blinds on a “night” flight when the rest of the cabin is dark and people are trying to sleep. Hence my love for the 787 where cabin crew can (and do) lock the capability to “open” the shutters when the cabin is darkened.

  17. That hair dryer is absolutely essential ;D I managed to snatch seat 16A on my next QF international flight from SIN to MEL. Hopefully Qantas will hand out the amenity kit next time; last time the “ground crew forgot to load them” on QF2 to SYD via DRW, and even the inflight menu and breakfast order were black & white photocopies. Rather than forgetting to load them, I suspect there was a supply issue on that particular flight. No one seemed to notice that the amenity kits were missing though. But that was my first international flight out of Melbourne since March 2020, and flying through DRW itself is quintessentially witnessing history for me, therefore the missing kit shenanigan didn’t manage to ruin my trip at all – now it bothers me after seeing it in your trip report.

  18. haha! sorry paul it was 11:05

  19. 13:33 – sorry thats my foot and legs in background. was a fantastic flight. saw you filming haha, im a huge fan.

  20. 13:33 – Hey thats me!!!

  21. Very good to see that Qantas A380 have improved their business class seats. The old seats were not so good!

  22. Great review as always Paul. But jyst shows how lacking Qantas is and i say this as an Aussie
Geeze those pancakes look like road kill. Shameful presentation for BC. Lounge on board is a joke compared to Emirates or Qatar. Really falling behind othrr carriers. Qantas arent the carrier they once were under Joyce. These days we fly Emirates or Singapore Airlines BC. Flying both in August to Europe.

  23. That breakfast was EPIC! I've never seen pancakes on a flight meal, and I've watched a million of these videos! The serving was huge!

  24. u did not have massive booz cause of tipping? WTF why I should tip for free booz? whay I should tip anyone-the employer shall pay them a salary. funny people in US

    Lovely Mate…

    Well improvised…

    Cheers,

  26. It's always nice to see videos of you exploring the world two years after a long COVID hibernation, with great flight reviews to start of with; and while the American Airlines NZ routes to Auckland and Christchurch are not in the timetable at the moment, there's still some hope for these routes to be up and running eventually; and once they do in the future, I'd appreciate to see you review either the Auckland-Dallas or Christchurch-LA route. But I'd suggest the latter though, for your future world travels since this would be the first time the South Island of NZ would be getting its very first nonstop flights to the US mainland for the first time in history!

  27. How did you feel travelling back in the airports in the US? Looking at starting up my travels once more and wondering if its all very clunky and slow now with international travel and covid? Qantas never gives enough time to clear customs and get your next flight I found, is it even more impossible now?

Great to see Paul Stewart international trip reports back! The facts are presented without complaining.

  29. Enjoyed the video as usual, Paul.
By the way, did you say "social media effluencer"? 😂

  30. The subtle self deprecating humour was on point.
It will be a shame when A380 business class no longer flies as it is the best BC in the sky.

  31. Which tails are refurbished?

“The social media influencers who can’t survive the lack of validation for that long” – BEST QUOTE EVER 😂

  33. I think I may have been on the same flight as you Paul! Was my first time in Business Class too 😀

  34. Looked like a very nice flight back home. 🤗 Can't get over how far back Business Class went. I am a bit disappointed at how very short the review of the hairdryer in the lounge was though. Not good enough Paul! 😂🤣

  35. social media efulencer. Love it Paul…

  36. Why are you wearing a mask? Makes you look like a hypochondriac after 2 years.

  37. 😂 Lack of validation for that long. Good one.

  38. "…hair dryer…" 😁

  39. We missed your reviews and you sense of humor .. using Hairdryer made me 😂😂😂

  40. Flew my first and last Qantas international business flight a few days ago and couldn't believe how inept they were. Plane was delayed over 4 hours from Sydney due to late arriving aircraft. Staff refused to rebook my connecting flight on the ground in Sydney. After landing in DFW, mass pandemonium and confusion as just about the entire plane had missed connecting flights. No information provided to me on rebooked connecting flights upon landing. Waited nearly 2 hours in 3 different ques trying to get a new connecting flight–American airlines reps told me they were unable to rebook my ticket, Qantas reps told me they were unable to print new boarding passes and to go back to American Airlines. Spoke to other business class passengers who were told no hotels were available and they were "on their own" to try and find accommodation. Downgraded to economy on my new connecting flight (that was also delayed 2 hours), despite paying for a full fare business international ticket. No attempts by Qantas of any compensation and was hung up on by their call center after requesting a partial refund and being placed on hold for 20 minutes. No response to emails. Seriously, avoid this airline at all costs.

  41. After leaving Australians stranded, accepting payments for flights they had no intention of running and watching other non-Australian airlines continue service in and out of Australia though 2020 and 2021 QANTAS has lost my business forever.

  42. Saya suka video nya kawan
