Meet the Ferrari 296 GTB, a plug-in hybrid Ferrari that uses a V6 petrol engine and an electric motor to make 830 horsepower. It even has an all-electric mode! It is a clear sign of Ferrari evolving towards an electrified future, but is it actually any good?

Are you happy about Ferrariโs move to hybrid?
Doesnโt this exist because Ferrari always has a road car with engines similar to their F1 engine? I remember hearing that is why the turbocharged 488 exists, because F1 went turbo. Makes sense to go V6 hybrid turbo now
I wouldn't bet on EV in a super car!!
It doesn't matter how much you hype this car up, nobody wants to drive a silent Ferrari
I can see the hybrid choice or eventually going to a full EV but why offer the plug in capability with only a 15-mile range? Drive to the grocery store and back in EV mode, then you get to charge it for 2 1/2 hours. Seems dumb.
If I had the money I'd take the f8
For a v6 this sounds incredible. In my opinion It sounds better than the v8 in the tributo
I wonder about speed limits. In a renewables world do they still make sense on highways?
Why do supercars which make up a fraction of a % of all cars and are rarely driven by their owners have to be "Eco-conscious"? They have virtually no impact on the environment.
The Artura and the 296 are both excellent choices in automotive hybrid technology, excellent videos on both of these great machines.
This is Horrible that in the near future Ferrari will be completely electric, this is a really scary thought.
Ferrari was the pinnacle, but it hasn't been a for a long time. Koenigsegg surpassed them over a decade ago. Ever since they started using their own engines.
Pretty little thing , I'll buy one for my girlfriend…hope my wife doesn't find out!!.๐๐๐๐บ๐ธ
Isn't it possible to use a built-in sound effect? Just like how electric cars has engine sound effects to notify pedestrians..or is that too fake for Ferrari?
I don't like this guy yet. And take your rules Autotrader, go to a beach…and pound sand. ๐
Itโs weird to see a T-tray was added to a roadcar as an aero features while it was actually introduced in an F1 (as ride hide plank) to limit the amount of downforce but then the team in F1 found a way to use it as a device to both induce downforce and flow/wake management via vortex shedding.
458 Italia was peak small Ferrari.
The environmentalists have ruined it for all of us ๐ฅบ
The Fiorano Asento package should be named Vitiligo package…
The lines on this Ferrari are my favorite thus far. I really loved the Pista but I think Iโve found a new favorite. โค
โItโs like driving my ยฃ4500 Nissan Leafโ ๐ข sound like the soul of the car is no longer there.
Simply stunning! And the car is nice too.
The front looks like a failed cosmetic surgery done to F8 Tributo.. a 90s Camaro came to mind..๐ฅฒ
I love this car.
If engine is gone from Ferrari what is left ? Ferarri electric should be for free to take, as Ferrari use to say that they charge you for engine, car is free ๐

They want to beat dodge 800hp never happen dodge demon $87k 9 sec 1/4 mile fast and furious 'imagine what you can do with an extra $200k in your pocket for customizing
This is the best car show I've ever seen.
This car kind of sounds like an f2 car. No hate, just noticing
Probably the best car video and review Iโve ever watched! โค
With your own money, which would buy & how long would you keep. A straight choice between the Artura & the Fezza 296 & how long miles would you keep it? I've both brands & my heart & head both lean the same way. Let dispense with brand new & VAT qualifying. My view of cost/s is ยฃ/miles from purchase price to achieved sale price taking into account every penny you spend on it.
Will go down as one of the ugliest Ferraris. Did they save money buy sourcing corvette rear end lights?
This is the sound of progress…
It has no sound….๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
This is the ugliest ferrari ever produced๐ญ
The title says evolve or die. I believe Enzo would rather die
812GTS or 296GTB ?
๐๐
And Ferrari did say they're not interested in electric cars, look at them now
That screen though… took me off guard
No sound is the new sound ? Give me a loud svj V12 ๐ฅ๐
Wish Ferrari would come out with a modernized F-40. This looks like something Mazda would produce.
The guys boring. Im going somewhere else
Not screaming car isnโt a Ferrari
