This is the new Citroen C5 X!
The new C5 X is a mix of a few different cars. It comes with a ride height similar to an SUV, a big estate-sized boot, along with the interior room & comfort of a saloon! So is it the right car for you? Let’s take a look!
It’s got a pretty stylish exterior design, with Citroen’s traditional upside-down headlight style along with a smart chrome strip across the front. Around the back, it’s got some stylish wrap-around taillights coupled with a boot lip spoiler. We’re not a big fan of the plastic bumper though.
Thankfully, there’s little to complain about on the inside. There are high-quality materials throughout, along with a big infotainment screen, digital dials and a whole lot of storage. The seats are also super comfortable, too!
There’s a choice of petrol engines available, with the range-topper being a plug-in hybrid which combined an electric motor with a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine to deliver 225hp. All models come with an automatic gearbox along with FWD.
The price starts from just under £28,000, but is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself!

The software is vey glitchy ,mine has a problem with its motorised tailgate ,the car should automatically lock itsef after you close it but sometimes the alarm goes off ,it wont lock or the tailgate refuses to shut.More annoying than that is the dealership says its not a fault on their system.
I wish they made it a more proper estate. The roof should not drop down for back seats and should extend to the end of the car with more vertical tailgate
Anyone else has 1.6 hdi leaking oil, goea to citroen to fix it and shortly after the issue appears again?! Stellantis uk are crooks, this recurring oil leaks happen a lot, they know it and keep ripping off people. Keep your car and your wallet away from this thieves.

I was looking for a ULEZ-compliant car and lookjed at loads of reviews on Youtube. None of them had a bad word to say about this car. So I went and bought one. It's an ex-demo hybrid version and has all the toys, including a sub-woofer which, together with the traction battery, unfortunately reduces the under-floor space on the boot. I like quirky cars – have had a FIAT Multipla and a Chrysler 300C. The C5 X is the most comfortable of the lot, uses NO petrol most of the time, and is the kind of car that makes you want to drive sedately. Thankfully I also have a Hayabusa 🙂

it does feel like 7 seconds when i accelarate. it drives quite well. surprisingly agile, precise, yet retains amazing suspension and confort. fuel economy is also reasonable if you drive it normally.
Great car. Seems like it’s engine options let it down a bit due to lack of power.

Don't know why they bother producing petrol-diesel cars now…. The world is fast going electric. The world only wants electric.. I would have thought a company like Citroen would be 'further along' the development & transition into the new technologies. We need a GOOD e C5 (x).
No rear window wiper?I mean in my RCZ is kinda justifiable due to the unique hump on the rear /top glass, but on this one??
He's right about the rear seatblets, cmon this is not a base Dacia(which has probably a better solution?)
This car could be perfect, it just needed a bit more attention to detail.And yes waiting for that boot with that forlkit sound to close…i'd just slam it if there would be an option.
Ok suspension wise, confort even a smooth reliable motor, that's what Citroen has to offer like no other car company, and the price for such a great looking car, looks better on the street, for such a price and probably better than a few premium more expensive cars, but cmon some annoying stuff could have been easily fixed.
High rear floor…May well be a petrol – diesel designed body. Dam, it is a tiny petrol engine. It is old already, electrics are coming.
So . 1,6 engine And that’s it ??! 😂

I haven't got a copyright on this yet so I'm hoping Citroen don't pinch it and use it in their global marketing campaign, but I'm thinking, "Citroen, styled for 90 year-olds"
