LinkedIn Cofounder Reid Hoffman on Innovating for an Uncertain Future reviews

May 24, 2022

Hoffman, now a partner at Greylock Partners, says innovators must ignore hype to identify new technologies with real traction. It starts by envisioning how they might shape the future.

This interview part of a series called “The New World of Work,” which explores how top-tier executives see the future and how their companies are trying to set themselves up for success. Each week, Adi will interview a leader on LinkedIn Live — and then share an inside look at those conversations and solicit questions for future discussions in a newsletter just for HBR subscribers. 1. Hmmm…seen it. Pretty hoddie that you are having there, Alpaca.

  2. Now you perfectly understand what I mean by "writing" is therafying. When one is trying to create something physical, using words as the medium, that's when writing becomes frustrating. Only an idiot does that. Which was me awhile ago. One tried to write a haiku, neeeh…. bad move, proceeded to save it the day through a sonnet… neeeh… bad move again. and instead got tangled up in free verse. And when you realize this, that's when writing incompletes you. That's it.

NFTs, TikTok, crypto, DeFi etc. may seem weird or dumb to some of us, but there's a phenomenon (heat) there that'll probably endure. So it warrants looking into, and going where it's evolving into.

    I agree!

Ohh I missed that episode, now watched and enjoy as well.

  5. 👍🏻

  6. i am deeply dissapointed by this interview. A lot of mediocre ideas, totally unorganized thinking, nothing helpful (on the contrary, you feel more confused after watching the speaker …), a waste of our time….
