Hoteliers and KNCCI want SRC to review the status of the lakeside town 2022

November 22, 2022

Hoteliers in Naivasha and the Kenya National Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) now want the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) to review the daily subsistence allowance rates for civil servants working in Naivasha town. Speaking after launching a fresh campaign to have the town’s status reviewed upwards, KNCCI lamented that the booking in the town had dropped to 20 percent. They say tens of workers might loose their jobs due to the unpopular move by SRC to review downwards the workers per diem.
