And British stars have dominated this year’s Golden Globes Awards, which celebrates the best in TV and film.

The ceremony is often seen as a strong indicator of what will do well at the Oscars.

Daniel Kaluuya got the first award of the night, Best Supporting Actor, for his role in the film Judas and the Black Messiah.

  20. The government channelled the ideas of awarding late people who have a big hit in their field. Since then, actors, singers and even sport stars have been awarded with Nobel Prize posthumously and rolled out the red-carpet to recognise their popularity each year.
