Coronavirus: Italy takes action: BBC News Review reviews

Learn vocabulary from the news. We’re talking about coronavirus – or COVID-19 – and the latest news from Italy. The UK government advice is: don’t travel to Italy unless you have to. All public gatherings in the country have been banned, and people there are being told to stay at home in an attempt to control the spread of coronavirus.

  11. The Italian government has asked its citizens to stay at home in an attempt to slow the spread of coronovirus. The latest government advice is – don’t travel to Italy unless you have to. All public gathering in the country have been banned and people there are being told to stay near their home unless it’s an emergency.

  19. I'm always mad for getting British accent, I often listen to BBC learning English also I mimic and imitate British teachers. But I still have problems for getting this nicest accent in the world.
    What the difference between quarantine and lockdown?
