Y’all know this is just my opinion, right?
this album i seriously a fucking masterpiece. it is a classic, i guarantee in a few years people will be talking about it in the same conversation as pink moon and highway 61
L OPINION ON LITTLE THINGS AND CHANGES
I remember listening to this album and being way too fucking cynical to enjoy it so turned it off after three songs. Came back to it about a year later and gave it another shot and all I can say is that being cynical will make you miss out on a lot of good things
its become one of my go to albums when I don't know what to listen too…
"Change" is like the "Nikes" intro of this album.
CHANGE SLANDER L
change is such a good song
No shot Little Things is the least favorite, that’s a song of the year candidate
To me it sonically resembles our youth and the past. Whereas lyrically it is guiding like science towards the future, then conceptaully it feels as if it comes full circle as the end of the album sets up perfect for the beginning. The sunsets with bluelightning teeing off with "change" from light to dark around a nice fire with the loved ready for the calm cool night
literally my only critique is that Little Things and Blurred View drag on a bit. I like them, but they're both too long and get a wee bit repetitive. Also, Heavy Bend is too short for how beautiful it is dear lord
cowboy ass music lmaoooo boring af
this album is just amazing.
Don't go hating on little things that song is one of the most incredible, experimental and emotional soundscapes I've ever heard
i like change a lot but i agree about little things. it feels cluttered and too chaotic and doesn’t really gel with the rest of the record. that being said i think the album is fantastic and simulation swarm could be one of my favorite songs ever
You're high, "Change" may be overly accessible, but it's a classic as good as a Gordon Lightfoot song. It's simple, beautiful, and eternal. Anybody who writes songs would be proud to call it their own.
Change and the title track are the two best on the album
Best. Intro. Ever.
I’m genuinely blown away that the three songs you singled out as weak points are my three favorites
Dried Roses crushed my soul it is so damn beautifulllllll!!!
i liked this band a lot since i first heard them, around when capacity came out. didnt LOVE them at first, but generally enjoyed them. they grew on me more overtime.
listened to this. thought it was pretty good, but then thought…. i NEED this album on vinyl. it just felt like somthing i wanted to have the physical copy of, for that ritual of taking it out of the sleeve, putting it on the tuntable, flipping it over, etc.i guess the music gae me the same feeling of listening to my parents old records.
these days i almost always put it on when im doing any house work, along with say joni mitchell or fleetwood mac. its really reaffirmed to me why i like the experience of putting on records.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That description angers me
we didn’t forget that you gave ufof a 5
Little things is genuinely in my top 10 songs of all time the sound is just so like UGH I can’t even explain it I get so lost in it I can’t even think and it invokes so much emotion I just don’t know how you can hear it and not be completely engulfed in it
…yeah but what is the album *about*?
aot fucking y
