    Aahhh no problem whatsoever…
She's the, The military did not commit genocide against the Rohingya lady…
I like to think of her as, The military did not put her in jail lady…

It's just a very complicated problem. You know?
There is "fear on both sides". She fears the military, but they fear her too.
She has very "powerful global reach".
It's just not so black and white at all…

In your 1st headline, I am confused with "sentences" which is used in the present tense. Isn't this ungrammatical? Pretty sure that's not how The Present Tense is used most of the time.

  11. I believe, it’s illegally detained
    We stand with our leader.
I love her so much and every body love her who loves democracy.
I was painful to learn English with this topic.

  12. Learning English from this news is sad. Our Leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, is unlawfully sentenced to 4 years in prison with fraud evidence by the Junta. We need justice. Actual perpetrator is terrorist Junta. We never stop for justice. The Junta must be accountable for what he has committed.

  13. I love both of you what a great men that God bless you

Hi both of them, Hello Everyone
Once again , I have no choice bur to note the similarity between English and French.
The word "sentences" refers to both sentences and judgements.
In France, we use oust to get rid of someone. "Get the hell out of here ! Go away !
We use the word incitation instead of incitement . However, incitation does not have a pejorative connotation like in English.
I don't agree with your sentences ; I guess if Aung San Suu Kyi incited her people, it was a reasonable incitement. Not something bad. Anyway, sometimes we must stand up for our rights and disobey the laws because it is the laws that are unfair

  18. Thank you for your vocabulary lesson . But she is not a former leader. She is still a leader of Myanmar.

  19. Our country is in darkness now and we'll fight for the light returns

  20. Wow. I really enjoy to learn this sad story and I never think BBC will make about our democracy leader.

Actually, she is not guilty at all because her trial was not open and transparent to local and international media. She is just a hostage during the coup created by military juntas.

Awesmos! It's absolutely interesting to me. I'm learning a lot of stuff. Thanks so much.

  23. Ur lesson is a good one indeed but for us, native Burmese, it's a really hard lesson to learn as we know it isn't the truth. She just went outside for a few minutes to wave at her civilians before election and military coup just alleged her for these few minutes. It is really unfair. Though we all know about cruel junta, the world and other countries're still watching comfortably with popcorns :3
Whatever we will fight back them till the end. Most difficult lesson for me to learn till the end ヅ

  24. Synonym for OUSTED – TOPPLED?

  25. Rob is Cookie Monster

  26. May Myanmar military receive equal and direct retribution for their sins.

  44. Interesting words that you taught today. But the one that really drew my attention is the phrasal verb TELL OFF, that Roy said casually.
