The AirPod pro gen 2 is a serious improvement in sound quality, and bass response…as an audio guy I absolutely love them…air the hearthrough is excellent which is a big feature for me, I like to hear around me and talk to people etc
They suck compared to studio buds. And way more expensive.
I’ve had the 2nd gen AirPods for 3-4 years and they fit perfectly. I tried the pros but none of the silicon tips were a good fit for my ears. I finally lost my 2nd gens and I’m thinking about upgrading to the 3rd gens but I’m afraid they won’t fit
Worth it. Bought for my s23 ultra, super fast pairing.
Samsung power share is still cool tho 😢 apple please do dat
I’m thinking about buying them but I’m afraid they won’t fit well
me straight to apple store to get the same airpods after watching this. and now re-watching with the airpods. feels great!
just ordered mine. i'm so excited! thanks for the great video, man. i clicked it before looking at the creator cause it came up first and i thought "i hope it's-" and then saw your face and was like wooo
you sand it needs other hardware to charge the earbuds with magsafe it thats the case, why can you charge the powerbank when the charger is plugged into the phone
I have the same problem with AirPods pro, sits fine in my left ear and slips off from right ear!
My wife got these for me for 65$ brand new using her card boosts and she got the pros 2 for 200 si basically both for 280$ after tax
I put my AirPods 2 all day my ears doesn’t hurt at all I can sleep on it too. AirPods 3 are bigger outside hurts my ears, AirPods Pro 2 doesn’t stay in my ears. Better try them all which one you get comfortable. The only thing I don’t like with the AirPods 2 is, there too long hate to see it in my ears 😀
Over a year after the release and when this video was published, but I think I found the best song to experience the full effect of the head tracking spatial audio. "Can't hold us" by Macklemore is phenomenal to listen to with this feature on. When turning your head to the right Macklemore becomes a lot more pronounced and you can easily tell that Dolby Laboratories manipulated it to make it a more immersive listening experience.
I'm glad to know I have ears like Marques where my right ear will slowly puke out buds. 😁
I guess there's me who never used airpods before. Only the very old one that is wired.
I had to go with Beats Fit Pro. So far best fit for me! I had the airpod pros, great sound and everything but they can't ever stay on my ear 😢
I know this review's pretty old, but I didn't need any new buds until recently. I also had the original Pros and really enjoyed them, but they kinda broke down on me with constant static hissing that I probably stemmed from a malfunction of the noise cancelling electronics. Not sure how that happened but I probably got about three years of regular use out of them.
Decided to try some other premium models that also used silicone tips from Sony, Samsung, Google, etc. since it's been a few years and wanted to see if competitors had something more like Airpods now. And EVERY single one of them either irritated my ears due to poor fit, or made my ear canals itchy because there's no airflow when they're plugged, or made the cartilage around the ear lobe sore after a short amount of time, because they all have a circular shape that doesn't mimic the natural oval shape on Airpods.
I tried dozens of different aftermarket silicone tips to overcome that issue, but nothing helped, and none of the competitors were ever as comfortable to wear as Airpods. Which sucked, because I actually liked some of them, they were just too bloody uncomfortable to wear.
A big problem with silicone tips is also that you can't hear ambient sound around you. I understand the appeal of noise cancelling in specific situations, but not every situation requires having the outside world muted, and using a special feature to turn it on or off. If you're in a situation where you need to hear around you (e.g. work environment) and someone starts talking to you, you can still converse with these Airpods in, without having to activate a separate "ambient mode" feature.
And for what it's worth, I don't even currently have an iPhone and have zero problems using them on Android. Totally delighted with this generation and I think the comfort factor is more than worth a few extra dollars.
How do you guys like these you can’t even get through a full workout without the batteries dying out on you. Also, not sure if mine are defective but charging take 24-48hrs to get fully charged battery life is about 1:30-2hrs with noise cancellation off.
I like the pros but they hurt my ears after awhile. I’ll probably just order the first air pods they came out with
AirPods Pro 2 are wayyy better but still good earbuds
I can’t seem to skip forward or skip back to play music. How do I modify it like my second generation airpods
I always be watching this guy right before I’m about to sleep lmao
Silicone AirPod is Doggy . It looks like the other headphone are cheaper than Apple .
I think there should be two ports one for USBC and a lightning
They fit in my ears realy nice
The AirPods 3 are the safest purchase for AirPods to get. Price is good. Features are great all the way around. Just an easy purchase unless you need the Pro’s which everyone doesn’t.
Is it just me or the plastic feel in ears is discomfiting and silicon in ear buds are really good.
I was confused between AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2, but since these are my first AirPods ever I went for pro and I’m gonna say it’s bonkers, no regrets even tho I spent almost all my savings 😂
Do beats fit pro sounds louder and have better base ?
The 3 seem to fit my ear better. The 2 pros constantly fell out and got crushed by a 230 lb foot. Argh.
Literally any iems are better than these. Disappointing
These are the ones for me. Silicone tips won't stay in place, and they constantly slip out of my ears
Edit: Just got mine. If you have the option to try them on before buying I would recommend that. They do not slip out by themselves like silicone tips, but they also do not have the same "grip" as the previous two models. They fell down when I was looking for something under the bed, which I would say is a pretty light movement. At the same time I have no problem with them when jumping rope.
The fit is not the same as the original Airpods, which I thought they would be.
Airpods 3 are simply a scam. They have a design problem and Apple should be responsible and recall them. If they don't fall out, then they produce pain in your ear within an hour of use. If you make a product for the ear that can not we used in your ear, you don't have a product.
I bought these on a whim today without knowing much about them and you came in clutch and taught me a few things about them. Thanks mkbhd!!
I use AirPods for my Nintendo switch and school computer
Between airpods 2 & beats fit pro which have better noise cancellation & better sound?
I bought Airpods 2 today for my Android and i am not dissapointed
penge po iphone huhu
I only own airpods because I found them with a whole ass case someone came up to me claiming them but they got their shit pushed in
I love AirPods and hate how much they fall out my ear…it has made my reflexes better though 😂
Just switched from the airpods Pro to gen 3 and I'm impressed with sound quality. Since I don't usually use noise cancelling. Also got the blacked out icons case!
If AirPods Inc. was a seperate company, it wouldn't be even remotely as successful. AirPods success is BECAUSE it is Apple.
My favorite wireless ear phones are by One Plus and I've been shopping for a second pair. However, they have discontinued the hard tipped version. I have the exact opposite problem that MB stated in that regardless of make or model, my ear canals are too small for silicone tips and they become extremely painful after a few minutes. The only other brand I know of that does not use silicone tips is Apple's Airpods, which is why I came to this review. I loathe Apple as a company, so it will take a lot to get me to buy anything they sell. With that said, if necessary, I will have to buy theirs if I cannot find a suitable alternative. My other choice is to go to Shokz for a bone conduction alternative. Since my primary use is for hands-free phone calls, and to occasionally listen to music, I think bone conduction quality may be a sufficient alternative to donating to the cult of Apple.
Why is mine so low are they supposed to be lower then the other AirPods
