  1. Ideal bird feeder for us. Sadly I don't have a nice neighbour on one side. I think If I started to hang planters on our side of her fence. She may say something!! Xx

  2. Thanks for another great video. One problem that can happen with placing that bird feeder on your window is….they don’t see the window and fly INTO it and fall with shock. This happened to me and the poor bloody bird died 😥. Keep up the videos I love them.

  3. Hi Emma. I love your garden at home. I must invest in bird feeders. I only have two. Will get more. We are in Spring and lots and lots of birds around. I am just worried that the birds will depend more and more on me feeding them. Lovely vlog and you are a natural.

  4. Nice bird feeder I have something similar all the little birds in my garden love it. I'm only planting alliums this year cause the squirrels dig up my tulips or eat the heads of them, your pots are gonna be so pretty

  5. 👌👌✨✨

  6. I would love to get a bird feeder in the allotment but I think our dog would scare them all away 😂

  7. Your bulbs are so much cheaper than here in the United States.

  8. I had rats dig up and eat my Tulip bulbs last year!…I tried sprinkling chilli flakes over the soil surface this year and no repeat pleased to say. I… like you love tulips🌷🌷

  9. Emma you are the plant wispier 😂 try looking at green tomato chutney recipes. The bird feeder is showing currently unavailable 😢

  10. Porridge oats are the cheapest bird feed out there, blackbirds love them.

  11. Don’t know if you let bunny out into the garden but I’m fairly sure they can’t digest seeds so it would be worth making sure he can’t get to any dropped seeds. We always get seeds on the floor from our feeders as the birds are really picky and throw out the ones they don’t want. The chickens love hoovering them up (when they aren’t on flock down because of bird flu 🤦🏻‍♀️).

  12. Your garden will be a riot of colour xxx

  13. Hi Jemma another great vlog, we have lots of birds in our garden which we feed, however we get a few which fly into our windows and patio doors and that would worry me about your feeder, will be interested how you get on with it. Don’t forget the birds which are mainly ground feeders, such as blackbirds, robins and dunnocks ( very similar to sparrows) I feed these mealworms on the ground or a bird table. Just a reminder that squirrels love tulip bulbs also try the lasagne method of bulb planting.

  14. Hi Emma, please could you tell me the name of them huge Tomatoes…..thankyou Joyce xx

  15. We have had feeders since 1974 at this house. Trouble is, I think all the relatives since come here. We use 25kg mix, 25kg sunflowers hearts, 25kg peanuts, 30kg sewit and 10kg of mealworm every month. But, we are lucky to have so many.

  16. Love the bird feeder 😎 I want one! Might have to hang something inside window in case birds fly into window as precaution x

  17. The best flowers for pollinators are the ones that don't have double petals. Much more easily accessible for them. The aster family is most preferred for a larger range of insects but anything that has an open flower is usually preferable.

  18. You don't have to leave the tomatos on the plant until they get perfectly ripe. I will take them off when they get a little bit of color, and let them finish ripening in the house, so the bugs and birds don't get them first. I have a little box for my cherry tomatos that I put them in and put in a warm window to help them ripen.

  19. We tried the same bird feeder last year and the birds never used it preferring other parts of the garden. Towards the end of summer it fell off the window.

  20. Thanks for that, can I ask do you mulch your spring bulbs and water regular.. I've got some done and some waiting but never planted before. X

What I find with fruit, like tomatoes, is that we wait to get them perfectly ripe on the plant. But that's what the other animals are waiting for too!
So I pick just before they are ripe and ripen inside.
