2020 Dell XPS 13 quick business review 2022

October 26, 2022
  1. it's the 2 in 1 please don't mislead people

  2. I'm using this hardware (7390) since 2019 September. (4K, 512SSD, i7) I got it once replaced, because the plastic feet pealed off from the heat, (like this https://imgur.com/a/MNDfg50) and they could not replace the back-plate with the serial printed on. looks like this (the feet pealing off) is a common problem with this hw, several posts about rubber feets. One of my fans got also stuck after about 6 months.
The airflow and the fans are very bad. Single FHD youtube video heats it up about 60-70°C, which means its uncomfortable to hold it in hands if you watch fhd youtube or some 4k video. The cooling is getting worse every month, so i think i need to extend my warranty for another two years, and get this HW replaced few times.

  3. The new XPS13 HAS SSD upgrade option, removable NVMe part.

  4. I just lost my life here. Life is short man, do something, do something!

  5. you are showing the 2 in 1 , not the actual laptop. please indicate correctly on the title.

  6. Just a note: you are showing Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (7390) with soldered SSD. Dell XPS 13 (9300) – the model you are showing at 0:42 on dell.com website – has removable SSD
